Covid-19 Update

We are currently processing and shipping orders as we normally would. Our warehouse and online store remains open.
Our partners such as Royal Mail, FedEx and DPD may have some increased workload, however are currently still operating.

Here at Scooters Direct we do our very best to ensure the best delivery experience possible for all customers and using quality, reliable couriers is a top priority. Depending on the value and size of your order, smaller and lower value orders will typically go via Royal Mail, while larger and higher value orders will go DPD.

We offer free delivery on all items over the value of £50. All products below this value will have a flat £4.99 delivery cost when being shipped to the UK.

Royal Mail

Smaller, lower value items such as spare parts or accessories will be sent via Royal Mail 24 a service equivalent to Royal Mail First Class. Whilst we have found parcels are delivered next day (to the UK mainland) 90% of the time, this is not always guaranteed and customers should expect their order within 1 to 3 working days.

DPD Local

Our larger, higher valued products such as scooter upgrades are sent via a DPD Local Express service. UK orders are all sent via a next working day service (the Highlands and Islands are 2+ days). On dispatch, you will receive a tracking number, and on the morning of delivery, you will receive a text/email with a 1 hour delivery time slot. All deliveries via DPD Local will require a signature and can not be left in a safe spot. Our UK Saturday delivery option is also through DPD Local.

FedEx

Orders containing heavier items and large batteries (such as E-scooters and Unicycles) are sent via FedEx. UK orders are all sent via a next-working-day service with outlying areas such as the Highlands and Islands dispatched on 2+ day(s) service. On dispatch, you will receive an email with tracking number with further information available on the FedEx website. Deliveries via FedEx will require a signature and can not be left in a safe spot.

Dispatch and Cut-Off

Orders are dispatched Monday-Friday and our cut off time for same day dispatch is 1pm. Please note that some payment methods can introduce small delays when processing. As such we recommend placing your order 10-15 minutes before the cut off to ensure your order meets the deadline.

Saturday Delivery

Orders must be placed before 1pm on the Friday to ensure delivery the following Saturday. Our Saturday delivery is only applicable to UK mainland (excludes Northern Ireland, Islands and Highlands). Please note, any orders placed earlier in the week with the Saturday delivery option chosen will be held and dispatched the following Friday for Saturday delivery.

Do you ship internationally?

Many of our items are available for international shipping. Lower-value orders or small items will be dispatched via Royal Mail, whilst larger or higher value orders will be couriered by DPD. Shipping costs can vary depending on the items size and the country being shipped to, please use our Shipping Calculator tool for an accurate delivery cost.

How Reliable is your delivery?

We have built a successful distribution network through years of business and believe we now use the most reliable shipping options. Your parcel is fully insured and we take it is our responsibility to ensure you receive your item successfully. If you should encounter any issues with delivery, please contact us and we will do our best to get it sorted as quickly as possible.
